Our lives had been shattered. Walking through the grief and trauma of losing a baby was something we had never experienced before, and we had no idea how to navigate it. Stillbirth, miscarriage, and all types of pregnancy loss are not talked about in society. They never have been. In fact, women have been told to shove their loss underneath the rug and pretend like it never happened. And many are told that their babies were not even real people. Because of this, mothers who are walking through this trauma have no idea what to expect, have very little support and are incredibly confused about what the truth really is; especially when it comes to what Scripture says regarding their babies.
It’s hard to believe it’s been almost three years since we lost him, but I am excited to share that lot’s of studying, researching, collaborating, and writing have been underway; and I am nearing the end of Lysa Terkeurst’s Book Proposal Boot Camp (A ten week workshop for writers wanting to publish a book). There is still so much left to do, but I cannot wait to watch the Lord do what He does best: change hearts and lives forever.
